We're building the world's leading Large Medical Model (LMM) to make healthcare smarter, faster, and more efficient. We're looking for an ambitious full‑stack engineer in a co-op/intermediate capacity who wants to learn quickly, contribute meaningfully, and help drive our mission of improving patient outcomes at scale. Responsibilities Work with senior engineers to design, build, and maintain full‑stack web applications (frontend + backend). Assist in building secure RESTful APIs and microservices. Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to implement intuitive user-facing features. Work on AI-enabled automation workflows that power real healthcare operations, learning how LLMs integrate with production services. Gain hands-on experience with cloud architecture (AWS or similar), containerization (Docker), and DevOps tooling. Participate in code reviews and learn best practices in clean, scalable engineering. Support authentication/authorization implementations (OAuth2, SAML) in secure healthcare environments. Explore generative AI/LLM feature prototyping under mentorship, contributing to experiments that enhance our AI-powered product capabilities. Help monitor, log, and troubleshoot issues in staging/production environments under senior oversight. Assist in implementing, maintaining, and improving automation workflows across core healthcare processes. Support ongoing maintenance, stability, and optimization of automation pipelines used in production systems. Requirements Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field — or equivalent hands-on experience.
Working knowledge of at least one backend language (Python, Node.js, Java, or C#). Experience with at least one modern frontend framework (React, Next.js, Vue). Understanding of RESTful APIs, web architecture, and frontend–backend communication. Eagerness to learn cloud infrastructure, CI/CD workflows, and secure development practices. Curiosity about AI/ML and desire to work with LLM‑powered systems. Strong communication skills and a willingness to ask questions, take feedback, and iterate. Ability to work on-site in Boston; U.S. citizenship or residency may be required depending on project.
